About the International Resource Center for Pandemic and Disaster Nursing
The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security International Resource Center for Pandemic and Disaster Nursing identifies and disseminates evidence-based resources and training materials to help prepare nurses across the globe for future large-scale health emergencies. Specifically, the International Resource Center aims to:
- Provide a centralized database of up-to-date, evidence-based training and education materials relevant to pandemic and disaster nursing.
- Foster cultural relationships and increase knowledge sharing on lessons learned and innovative practices.
- Provide opportunities for collaboration, such as research proposals and scholarly manuscripts.
- Mentor junior nurses with interest in disaster and pandemic nursing.
